PROSPECT Definitions

The following definitions apply across PROSPECT policies, including the PROSPECT Terms Of Use, the PROSPECT Data Protection Policy, and the PROSPECT Code of Conduct.

A2EI

Access to Energy gGmbH, a not-for-profit limited liability company registered in Germany, operator of PROSPECT.

Data Provider

A registered user who uploads, manages, or shares data on the Platform.

DPO

Data Protection Officer, an enterprise security leadership role required by data privacy laws like the European Union's GDPR.

PII

Personally Identifiable Information, as defined under GDPR Article 4(1).

Platform

See "PROSPECT".

PROSPECT

Or Platform — the software, services, infrastructure, and related tools provided by A2EI, including but not limited to app.prospect.energy and prospect.energy.

PROSPECT Policies

The PROSPECT Terms of Use, the PROSPECT Data Protection Policy, and the PROSPECT Code of Conduct.

RBF

Result-Based Financing. Get financing via results (e.g. verified sales). A mechanism whereby a donor disburses funds to a recipient once a pre-agreed set of results has been achieved.

You / Your

The individual or legal entity accessing or using PROSPECT. If you are acting on behalf of an organization, "You" refers to that organization.
